 As the Senior Child Protection and Migration Advisor , you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing high-quality programs that protect children’s rights — especially those affected by migration, displacement, and humanitarian crises.Â
 You’ll be responsible for:- Providing technical leadership in child protection and migration programming
- Supporting policy advocacy and influencing strategies to strengthen child protection systems
- Designing and managing integrated, evidence-based programs
- Building capacity of local partners, government agencies, and civil society
- Representing Save the Children in national and regional forums
- Ensuring gender equality, inclusion, and child participation in all program activities
- Promoting strategic partnerships and resource mobilization

 In emergencies, you’ll also support rapid response efforts — ensuring children remain protected even in the most challenging environments.🧠Who Should Apply?

 This role is ideal for candidates with:Â
 ✅ A Master’s degree in Social Work, Child Protection, Migration Studies, or a related field✅ At least 8 years of experience in humanitarian and development programming focused on child protection and migration
âś… Strong understanding of child protection systems , case management, and community-level interventions
âś… Experience working with government institutions, donors (EU, FCDO, USAID, SIDA) , and civil society organizations
âś… Proven track record in program design, research, advocacy, and donor reporting
âś… Excellent English and Amharic language skills (written and spoken)
âś… Willingness to travel frequently, including to remote and crisis-affected areas
