💼 Role Overview: GIZ Communications & Event Management Intern

You’ll support the Secretariat’s team in planning, promoting, and executing key communications and events—including hybrid and in-person formats—with a focus on Africa-EU energy dialogue.
📌 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing major events like the AEEP Forum and Energy Talks webinars
- Coordinate logistics such as speaker invitations, agendas, and attendee communications
- Draft press releases, success stories, newsletters, and briefing materials
- Support social media content creation and website updates
- Monitor media coverage and provide communications insights
🎓 Who Can Apply?
To qualify for this internship, you should meet the following criteria:
✅ Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within 6 months) from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in:
- Communications
- International Relations
- Political Science
- Development Studies
- Social Sciences
or a related field
✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 or higher)
✅ Knowledge of German or French is a plus
