We are seeking a dedicated Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Perception Labeling and Tools team. This role focuses on designing and developing auto-labeling algorithms and platforms to facilitate AI model development for our autonomous driving stack. You will collaborate with Machine Learning engineers, data scientists, and software engineers to create scalable, high-performance pipelines that auto-label multimodal data and manage versioned datasets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop data mining tools and pipelines, including active learning frameworks and visualization tools.
Create and maintain labeling platforms for human labeling and auto-labeling pipelines.
Manage datasets for label data curation and integration with ML models.
Collaborate with ML engineers to enhance auto-labeling algorithms for improved model training.
Evaluate auto-label data quality and implement feedback loops for continuous improvement.
Work with software engineers to integrate datasets into the Dataloop platform.
Define problems and opportunities for application iteration, keeping stakeholders aligned.
Stay updated on trends in autonomous driving perception and machine learning.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in software engineering and data-driven ML development.
Proficiency with data management tools and frameworks.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $197,000-$252,000, based on location and experience.
There is also a possibility of receiving a sign-on bonus.
