Salary Range: $84,657.92 – $98,414.83 Annually

Position Overview

 

 

We are seeking a Manager of Donor Communications and Engagement to enhance our relationships with major donors. This pivotal role involves collaborating with the Major Gifts Leadership Team and various departments to develop and implement effective stewardship and engagement strategies. You will craft compelling content and coordinate outreach initiatives that inspire continued support for CARE’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

 

 

Donor Communications

  • Create and manage an annual calendar for donor communications and stewardship activities.
  • Provide regular updates on CARE events and initiatives relevant to major donors.
  • Oversee major donor fundraising efforts, including campaigns and timely stewardship activities.
  • Draft tailored communications such as reports, invitations, and updates that highlight the impact of donor contributions.
  • Monitor global events to identify engagement opportunities for donors.

 

 

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with teams across CARE (Marketing, Events, Programs, etc.) to foster relationships with key donors.
  • Collaborate on communications aimed at major donors during events and meetings.
  • Partner with Grants Management and Resource Development teams to deliver compelling impact reports.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for fundraisers seeking resources and collateral.
  • Support special projects and other duties as required.

Qualifications

 

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in major stewardship or direct engagement with high-net-worth individuals.

 

 

Preferred:

  • A strong passion for CARE’s mission.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent diplomacy and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional writing and editing capabilities.
  • Strong judgment and effective communication skills with senior leaders.
