Job Description
The Contingent Workforce Specialist is a person who will be engaged in the full life cycle of personnel who are self-employed (ICs) and those who are recruited through the payroll processors of third parties. This is a very crucial position in the P&C Operations team, and the person who fills this post will have to work with internal departments, such as Legal, Procurement, and Finance, to ensure compliance and provide the best service.
Major Responsibilities
- Supervise the whole life cycle process of the non-employee workforce, such as worker hiring, renewals, and offboarding.
- Give advice to hiring managers on the types of engagements and the necessary documentation.
- Process vendor invoices on time so that payments are not delayed.
- Please ensure that contract approvals and background checks are conducted in accordance with the organization’s policies.
- Keep records and report contract statuses for audits and up-to-date information.
- Discover and carry out process changes that make the workflow and the experience of stakeholders better.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Experience: 0-2 years in contractor onboarding or HR operations.
- Knowledge: Having a deep understanding of various contingent workforce models and how the processes are conducted.
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office proficient; experience with HRIS (Workday) desirable.
